I was at the 10/9 show. It was okay but I was never really thrilled about outdoor stadium shows. However I did see the Who at Winterland I believe the year before. Keith Moon was truly stunning to behold.

I understand your point. My group sat behind home plate. I was boggled by the size and the hugeness of the sound. At that time, I couldn't believe that it could sound as good as it did in a place like that.

You should check out the Who at the 1970 Isle of Wight festival DVD. I ran into it on cable last month and it was explosive. They did all of Tommy.
